Can my eyes just remember this sight?
Why must every good view fade?
Sometimes I just want a color to stay vibrant,
To have a wash which doesn’t tarnish with age.
But time will dissolve this iridescence.
So I hold onto this- to us- while I can
And let the vivid hues envelope my senses;
For, tomorrow may bring a dull and smothering gray.
