It’s Time

I know what I got to do

There’s only two choices, two paths

And now I’ve got to choose

I need to find some courage

God give me strength

To just step over the edge

Despite the long length

Between me and the other side

And I can tell you right now

The gap has never seemed so wide

I don’t want to land on the ground- face down-

And I don’t want to lose it all- as I fall-

So just tell me, tell me how

I can do this, do this now

So just show me, show me how

I can say this, say this now

Because I’m so scared of what could be

And I’m so scared of never knowing what I see

And I want to know what happened this time

I need to know what happened to my time

And I can’t handle it

But I refuse to just sit

I got to go, I just got to go

One way or the other

And I know it’s time I know.
