Something New

I've got to try something new
It doesn't have to be daring
It doesn't have to feel unexpected
It doesn't need to reverse my view
And it doesn't even have to rhyme
But I've got to try something new
Because these days spent hoping
Something- anything- everything 
Can get better still feel 
Somehow just a little short of enough
So it's time to make a choice
Which may turn our right or wrong
But I've just got to try something new
Because everyday I still promise 
To be a better version of me for you.
