Faith & Flames

I once thought if you had faith

That you couldn’t dare question

What others told you were its ways.

But as age brought the wisdom

That only comes through flames,

I came to oh-too-clearly see:

The only real faith

Is faith which has been tested

And at the end,

Grown to encapsulate the flames.
