Let this snow fall down upon
The drying earth and dying brush
To bring future life within these darkest nights.
Let this harsh wind blow through
Every barren tree to remove the last debris
From empty branches who’ve now found their respite.
Let this winter finally lay bear
All these misplaced intentions and misguided actions
A new season might just teach me to lay down and repair.
