Fog has enveloped so many actions.
Haze has clouded all our judgements.
Smog has kept us from looking behind
And remembering what once was.
But within this mist that sticks
To every move I carefully make,
Webs of hope and new– and good–
Have intertwined to help remind
Of the sacrifices once made
And which should not be forgotten
Once the sunrise illuminates the fall.
